Arsenal kicked off the weekend’s Premier League action with a comfortable 4-1 victory against the league’s bottom side, Sunderland, on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners came into this game knowing that anything short of a victory would raise serious question marks about their title credentials, given their draw in the previous match against Middlesbrough.

Complacent Gunners get away with it!

Arsenal 3-2 Swansea

Arsenal continued their recent fine run of results by recording another victory on Saturday, against Swansea City.

It was a somewhat mixed performance as at times the Gunners were at their best while at others their sloppiness cost them dear and they could have ended up dropping points in a game that was theirs for the taking. Much has been made of the improvements that are evident throughout the side this season, but Arsenal’s ability to needlessly press the self-destruct button remains present and must be a real cause of concern for Arsene Wenger.

Last second Gunners

Burnley 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal left it very very late on Sunday evening to secure a vital three points away to Burnley with the last kick of the game.
The Gunners came into this game in a rich vein of form having overwhelmed both Chelsea and Basel with a high intensity game of strength, power and speed. However consistency has been Arsenal’s main issue in the years since the famous Invincbles season and that same issue reared its head again as the Gunners produced a performance far below those of the previous week.
